Big ol'root

A massive piece of root.
Player can walk underneath it :O
442 Tris - 1024x1024 Texture maps, so It can be scaled niiiiiice and biiiiig.

  1. if its gonna scale up to that big, feel free to chamfer a couple of those loops if you think it needs it.

  2. its got a 1024 texture, thats quite large for something under 500 tri i thinks :v

  4. Loving the player interactivity on this. Perhaps a 512 sheet but no biggie. I think the geo is ok too because smoothing it could look snake like which is what we want to avoid, and I like the rugged lightning bolt sharpness to it. Maybe a chamfer underneath the arches if any at all?

  5. fair point ant, we dont want it to look too smooth... but itll look less like a snake once the other root pieces are attached, so i dont think thats a concern. and 1024 is fine - smaller wouldnt be appropriate.

  6. Sharp edges now chamfered, tris increased by 100, no biggie, problems solved.
